The Purpose of this Privacy Notice is to make you aware of the types of personal data we collect, how we process it, who it may be transferred to and the rights you have in relation to it.

The European Network of Certified™ Kolbe Consultants Unincorporated Association is responsible for the collection and processing of your data.
1.2 What data is collected
When we use the term “personal data”, we mean any information which relates to a living person from which they can be identified. Your name, address and birth date are all examples of personal data.
“Processing” means any handling or operation involving your personal data. For example, collection, recording, storage, alteration, use and transmission are all examples of processing of personal data.
When you use or visit our website, we typically process the following types of personal data about you:
(a) Your name, email address and other contact details (both personal and professional);
(b) Your role, employer, position and/or job title within your employment;
(c) If you request to join the unincorporated association of the European Network of Certified Kolbe Consultants as a member of our network, we will also ask for your Kolbe certification and renewal dates
(d) details of your visits to our website, such as your browser type including any plug-ins and version, your operating system, and your IP address for monitoring and improving the effectiveness of our website services as well as its security; and
(e) Details of your registration to and attendance at events at our premises and externally (such as the time, date and location of your attendance, any presentations given by you and any dietary requirements).

In most cases, we will obtain your data directly from you, using an electronic or physical form, or verbally.

The European Network of Certified™ Kolbe Consultants may have a contract with you. For example, if you join European Network of Certified™ Kolbe Consultants the unincorporated association, then your agreement to its constitution amounts to a contract. If you join the European Network of Certified™ Kolbe Consultants, then we might process your name and contact details, payment details and geographic information (such as your postcode and constituency) for the purposes of administering your membership, in order to check your membership status and eligibility for continued participation, in order to inform you of these benefits.
If it is necessary for us to process your data in order to comply with any other contracts we may have with you, then when we enter into the contract with you, we will inform you of this, as well as informing you of the types of processing that it will be necessary for us to carry out, the categories of data that we will process and the purposes of our doing so.
6. How the European Network of Certified™ Kolbe Consultants will communicate with you
We will only contact you via email or text if we have your permission to do so. We may occasionally send you campaigning materials through other means, for example by post or telephone, without your consent if in the circumstances we have a legitimate interest to do so.
You may also see campaigning online and on some social media sites if you have interaction with us before.
To respond to your queries, we will contact you either via the medium you used to contact us or by a medium you have indicated you would like us to respond with. If it is necessary to contact you for any administrative purposes then we will usually try to email, text or call you, usually in that order, depending on what contact details we have available for you.
7. How the European Network of Certified™ Kolbe Consultants Protects Children’s privacy
No information should be submitted or posted to the European Network of Certified™ Kolbe Consultants by children under the age of 13 without prior consent of their parent or guardian.
